The carnivore diet and what it entails
As someone that has been on it for 2 months and friends of people that have been on it for years. I want to tell you about what this powerhouse diet has done for me and what it can do for you.
Have you ever struggled to get yourself full and no-matter how much you eat you still stay hungry?
That was me. I'm a big bloke Nearly two meters tall with a size 15 Shoe. No mater what I did. My health slowly regressed and 110 Kg soon became 144Kg.
Sound familiar?
Seeing how you're here, most likely. But now that you know some of my background would you believe me if I told you. I weigh 132Kg now.
That's a whole bag of Eureka Cake Flour (12kg) less than 2 months ago!!!
My energy levels are trough the roof and my recovery is halved after exercise.
Did I meantone that I'm not hungry!!!
I find myself having to remind myself that I need to eat. (Your have to) but the result of my blood sugar being stable for the first time in years. Had lead to me starting my days and forgetting breakfast. Gone are the the days of being Hangry.
But that's enough about me. What I want to tell you on this section is how to get started on the carnivore diet.

What is the Carnivore Diet
(1)It's a human specific diet. A proper healthy diet for humans has to be sustainable over a very long period of time, provide all necessary and essential nutrition that are bio-available for optimal health, performance, create a strong immune system and the prevention of illness and chronic diseases. Any variation from this diet would lead to sub-optimal and even destructive health outcomes
The human digestive system is made to be able to breakdown, digest and absorb nutrients from meat and animal fats very efficiently. Our human digestive system is a carnivorous system and it is the same as that of other carnivorous animals like lions and wolves. It is not at all the same as the digestive system of animals that are able to eat and digest plants. Because of this, we do not have the capability of digesting or absorbing nutrients from plants. Therefore, we need to eat meat and fat from animals in order to maintain optimal health.
Red meat and fat has all the essential nutrients that are needed for optimal human health. These nutrients are very bio-available and provide us with a complete nutrient profile. Food from plants is, on the other hand, not bio-available for humans just as they are not so for lions. If a lion or a wolf were put on a plant-based diet, they would very quickly develop serious health problems and possibly die because of nutrient deficiencies and toxic exposure from the plants that they are not capable of digesting them. This holds true for humans too. We need proper nutrition which can only be achieved through the consumption of fatty red meat and animal products.
2) Elimination diet
The carnivore diet eliminates all “foods” that may cause inflammation, toxic reactions and nutrient blocking “foods”. It eliminates all unhealthy processed and junk foods that have led to the deaths of so many people around the world. It also eliminates all plant foods too. All plants contain natural toxic chemicals as a defense mechanism. Plants can’t run away or fight back, so they need to defend themselves through toxic chemicals, poisons and anti-nutrients that deter many animals from eating them into extinction. This is also true for fruits and vegetables that we have been falsely led to believe is good and healthy for us.
These, so-called, “healthy” vegetables are actually causing so much more harm than good. These veggies lead to chronic inflammation, pain, digestive issues and discomfort, joint pain, arthritis, gout, malnutrition and many other negative health outcomes.
3) Ketogenic diet
The ketogenic state is where our body is able to access our fat stores as an energy source in the form of ketones instead of glucose. This is the natural state of humans. This is achieved by eating a diet that is very low to no carbohydrates at all. When we do not consume carbohydrates, then our body does not respond with a large insulin spike which inhibits access to the fat cells. When we are able to control and keep insulin low, then we can access our fat reserve for energy use. This can only be done on a ketogenic, low carbohydrate high fat diet like that of the carnivore diet. Ketones are the primary and preferred fuel source the body and the brain. The Ketogenic diet has successfully been used for over 100 years for the treatment and reversal of many chronic diseases.
You are not sick; your diet is just wrong.
